Question 4 - How did you use media technologies in the construction and research planning and evaluation stages?

Question 3 - What have you learned from your audience feedback?

To find out what my audience initially thought of my music video I created a survey detailing questions about what they thought.

This is the survey I created: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/7FZPRHY

These are the results and answers I received:

To get more detailed feedback I also held an informal interview with several people from different demographics to see what they thought of the three products I created:

This is a summary of everything I learned from my feedback and how I would apply their suggestions moving forward and in the future:

Music Video- Final Edit

This is the final edit of our music video. I am quite happy with it, although there are always things that you wish you would have done or improved on. I think we have done well with what we had and I hope our narrative is clear enough and people understand the storyline. Looking back I see that the concept is quite complicated and difficult to convey clearly to the audience so if I was to do this task again I would choose a simpler idea so my focus could be more on the finer details.

Editing Diary - 4/1/17

We have come to the end of editing our video and have included the final pieces of footage. The original idea was to use a cloning technique to give the impression of both of the characters personalities being in the same frame. However we have come across several problems with this, the main issue being the discrepancy between lighting. Despite no-one touching the lights or camera and only a couple of minutes between shooting each side, the lighting is totally different and seems as though it was filmed on outlay different days. Therefore we have adapted our idea into that of a split screen. It carries the same idea of both personalities but is more forgiving about the differences between each side of the frame.
