Through doing this task I now fully appreciate and understand the importance of synergy when creating a brand for my artist. Everything about my artist must work coherently and follow the same portrayal and brand that I have created, from promotion products to the clothing they wear and the music they sing. It all comes together to make a flawless brand that is instantly recognisable and unique. If everything doesn't match up or work together in synergy then there is a lack of cohesion and clarity that can make the artist appear confused and lacking a clear identity. A strong identity is what draws the audience to an artist and makes them memorable, but this can only be achieved through creating a strong and distinct brand.
